I finally did it
, everytime I have had a chance at small game I never had my talon with me well this time the raccoon came out and it was acting sick so I decided it needed to be shot. 18 yards shot in the head with a talon it didn't go anywhere, you can see blood in the edge of the photo I flipped it over so you didn't see the hole or large amounts of blood still on the raccoon. ![]() Again when I first found them I knew they would be a good head and I had to have them around boy am I glad that I did have them and will definitely order more as needed.

Hey Dustin, nice shooting! That spot looks familiar
Can't tell you how many times I've daydreamed about being back in Nebraska. Looking at your pic I'd say you are right about taking out a sick coon. I sharpen my Talons for hunting and get a lot of hemorrhaging as well. Raccoon opens here for us in two weeks, looking forward to it. Now you see why I have to have more than a one arrow quiver

Yea it might be familiar and for a side note that carcass we put out there is completely demolished picked clean.
And I am now even considering a quiver.... gasp. lol
