Default Thoughts on the ramcats and experiences with them

the ram cat is one of the top broadheads on my to try list but I really havent heard much about them. Durability, sharpness , bloodtrails, accuracy? If anyone knows or has experiences I would appreciate it.

I shot this head 20 times into my target with no issue.. it pulls out alittle tuff but other than that it is an awesome head.

1 3/8 " wide and when you pull them out the back cut goes to 1 3/4 inch

Tough heads . Great Flight .

Default RamCats all the way.

I havent killed anything with them yet,but i have been shooting them and from twenty five years of bowhunting,i have never shot a broadhead that actully flys like a broadhead until now.

I will be buying these on friday online I was just wondering about the tip of the broadhead. is it one peice ? in the pictures it looks like it has a seam on it. and it really doesn't look like trocar type tip ( to me the tip looks a little wide compared to other heads) do you think it will go thru the flesh good and bone?

No seam. The tip is one piece. I have a set here in front of me and they are VERY WELL put together. One of the sharpest heads out of the package I have ever held. Blades re a touch thin on the end but just because they are sharpened on the return side also.

Default Awesome Head

I have used them quite a bit, and love them, flew like my fieldpoints, my brother had to adjust his rest the direction the field point hit about an eight inch and then they flew like his field points, but that is any larger head, your bow has to be tuned. Amazing penetration, BLOOD TRAILS!, devestating wound channel and massive organ damage, not just cutting through, but spiraling through. I still like my GrizzTricks and Rage, but these are my new favorites.

Default Year two

This is my second season useing the Ramcats. Sixteen deer, four hogs and one coyote later, I am still in love with these heads.
They will fly like your field tip and make a great hole. My time blood trailing has been replace by time looking for my arrow after it blast through the deer. I usually get to see the deer go down.
This deer is from earlyer this month in Missouri.
I will use Ramcats to hunt elephants with if I ever get the chance.

Here is a doe I shot in Nov. 2010. This was the first deer I shot with the Ramcats. It was a quartering away shot and you can see by the hole, the Ramcats have a devastating cut for a fixed blade broadhead.

Default I ordered my first yesterday.

We will see how they do, i imagine just fine from what I have read and seen. Let you know in a few days...

Well I got them yesterday and tried them out and all I can say is WOW!!! I first shot 20 or so field tip shots to make sure my setup was good. Then I screwed one of these jewels in my Easton ACC arrow and they flew the same as my the FT. From 20 to 30 yards dead on and I did notice that the foam target I use was ripped up after only three shots. I cant wait to try them out on some flesh and bone this fall....

I can tell you that after shooting many different style of BH's in 40 years, the Ramcat is one of the sharpest and best flying heads I have ever seen. In my tests on a brand new Blob target, they repeatedly out penetrated Rage 2 blade and a Tekan T3. There are 5 animals from RSA at my taxi that will testify that they work extremely fine. While we are at it, where is the best place to buy these heads?

The blades do move forward when pulled backward. Not barbed.
