The Premiums like most Steel Force broadheads have "tonto" tipping, this is where the tip is slightly squared off to prevent peel backs, also allows broadhead to continue on it's desginated travel path.

i have shot these exclusively for years and have shot them at everything from carbibou to coatimundi. i have had situtions where the blades have been marred or the tip with a dent. but i have never had blade or tip failure the abuse they have shone has always been the result of hitting a big bone and going through. but nothing you cant fix with a file and a little time. great choice for whatever you are going to shoot
