Status of Steel Force -

Hey all, Blake Davis here. I am a primary at Steel Force, and I was directed here to clarify what is going on at Steel Force.
First, special Thanks to the Richter's and Al Coon. They are the ones who brought this to my attention.

2011 was a ROUGH year at Steel Force.......the rumors of Cancer with Nick are true, and while the prognosis is as favorable as one can get with that horrible condition.......it is still Cancer. Lymphoma to be exact. Nick is still very healthy and we are still making heads in Honesdale. In addition to Nick's health issues, his Mother also required some medical attention and Cathy (Nick's wife) has simply had a lot of irons in the fire.......so communication has suffered with our customer base. For that we all apologize.

We also had 2 floods that severely interrupted our ability to conduct business , which made it extrememly hard to deliver in sufficient quantity ......but it was mostly a timing thing.

Steel Force is going nowhere, we will continue to build at a moderate pace and the new web launch should happen in Feb. 2012. It will include e-commerce, which should streamline customer delivery.

It has been quite a year (I came on in April 2011), and 2012 will start the restructure and rebirth of the company.

For reference, this will be my 15th season using Nick's heads, and I have been friends with the Giannetti's for around 10 years.

Steel Force is looking forward to a bang up year.

Be on the lookout for our new 145 grain single bevel........it will feature a knife grade Titanium main blade and a steel ferrule.
We are still working on a new Turkey head also.

Thanks for the update!! Sorry to hear about Nicks situation. I will pray for a full recovery.

I believe I spoke with you on the phone today Blake. My name's Kris I was the one who emailed asking about a 150gr single bevel head and you told me about the new 145gr head you're coming out with. I'm very much looking forward to trying that new head! I hope all is well with your coming and await updates on the new model coming out!
