How would they compare to magnus buzzcuts. Does that coating really help penetration? Any input of how effective these broadheads are at bringing down animals. Pics or reviews would be great. Thanks.

I just got the 140 gr glue ons, where 2 of them have threaded 75 gr addaptors which gives me a total of 215 gr up front for my Easton 2020's. I know from practicing with the two threaded ones, these are dead nuts accurate.
I just don't have a 4 legged vegitarian to try them out on right now. Speaking of the threaded addaptors, will any 75 gr threaded addaptor glue into these?

I used the Sabertooths before switching to the Phat Head and I still use them on the recurve. I have not however used the buzzcuts so I can not compare. I had great luck with the Sabers with my short draw and low poundage. I got plenty of pass through and if I did my job on the shot the blood trails were great. Bone didn't seem to be a problem for these heads. I still have one that I believe is a 125 grain screw on email me your address and I'll mail it to you to try. ikesoutdoors@yahoo.com

Well I have ran the buzz cuts through 3/4 inch plywood a couple times same head never any issues.
I have shot many deer in the shoulder, one or two in the spine never any issues just sharpen them up spin test any ready for kill in duty again. My personal thoughts if I was going on a dangerous hunt of some sort it would be either Buzz cuts or slick trick mags for me. |

I used the sabertooths last year and it put the hurt on a nice 11 point. I burried the arrow to the fletch at 8 yards with my longbow and the buck went about 65 yards before crashing. I'm trying the pheonix from RFA this year but I have them as backups.
