New Mechanical Broadhead Testing Video -

I started shooting the 100 grain swhacker last year and think it is a very effective head. It puts some pretty nice holes in animals and worked very nice for me. I was previously shooting slick trick 100 grain mags, they are also nice, but for me the swhackers just fly better. Wade Nolan recently posted a series of broadhead tests on youtube. I think it is the best broadhead testing I have seen, but decide for yourself. It shows some of the top mechanicals in action (even a few fixed), granted they are shooting the steel drum, and ply wood, but they also shoot the heads into hide, bone, and ballistic gel. Check the videos out and like the inventor of the swhacker Rick Forrest says, "shoot what you are comfortable with".

Loved the test videos of the Swhacker! Thanks for posting the link. I bought some of the new 2" 100gr heads to try this fall. Impressed so far as to flight. Mostly good reviews on the heads. The bone test really set any apprehension at ease.

man its nice to see some proof of just how phenominal this head really is. Sure am glad this is in my quiver this year.

I love this video, it confirms all my problems with the rage. Shows other broadheads for comparison, shos swhackers doing what they do best, and at the end pickin on rage a lot. I didnt know they could shoot out of ground blinds which is awesome cause i just bought one for this season

I watched all of the video's they do look impressive but they arent open untill entering the animal? also not bashing them or any thing but I do recall Wade Nolan doing all of the same test with the GR before and it passed all of them but in that test it didn't. I might pick some of these up at ****s been torn on what heads to shoot this year and they look like they work

ol wade nolan is gettin pretty rough lookin!!! I remember him from the Quest video series vhs late 80's early 90's

Something I can say is they sure do what they were designed to do, put animals down fast !!!!
