I have one of those swhacker sharpeners that they make and just sharpen it right on the head. Don't even take it apart except to clean the blood out from the inside. But I just sharpen it right on the head, makes it easier to hold on to. I love my swhacker sharpener. It also has a side to sharpen knifes too and is so small it fits in the pocket easy. I actually carry mine all the time with me.

I can shave my arm with the swhacker when I am done. I also have used it on some Rages and works too. But thats all the broadheads I have used it on. Yeah it doesn't work on all my knives, but does the trick on my pocket knife and I use it to cut just about everything.

I used that style of sharpener made by Smith's on my dull Shwacker blades. It worked pretty good but I can't get all the blade without taking it apart. My guess is the angle isn't the 17* of your sharpener but it worked well enough I would use the blades again no problem. If I wanted to I could rod or strop(?) them to make them even sharper but I like the finish it has now. Thanks for making me try this!
