Booner that is so sweet of you.

I am just really glad that you guys are accepting of me, and sometimes my silly questions. I have only been hunting for a short time and I don't know a lot about broadheads but I am learning alot from reading what you guys post.

Thanks again,

from "The Queen of the Castle", you won't live that one down now

It is awsome to see females enjoying the outdoors with us guys. I have recently introduced my fiance' into the hunting world. She is starting to open up to it a bit, and understanding why I am so crazed about it. Hunting is a wonderful thing and should be enjoyed, no mater what gender you are.

Archer, that arrow looked beautiful I am very interested in one. I have so much respect for all individuals who are DIY kind of people. I mean honestly who couldn't respect individuals who build there own muskets or long bows, and harvest animals with arrows or sabots that they created with their own hands. I don't know if you hunted much with these points Archer, but I know I have read that you hunt with homemade heads, and I think that is amazing.

I love to be outside, tonight I took my Bow out and got to watch some young deer playing with their momma. Sometimes I enjoy watching them more than trying to shot at them

Camoprincess (and others) I do not sell the items I make. Not the bows, arrows, broadheads, knives, native gear, etc. Selling these items is not why I post what I post. I just enjoy making things. Those things that I make, I use, those things that I don't use, I make and give away. Most every knife I make is gifted. Most go to sporting orgs or other non-profits to be used as fund raisers. The most recent one I posted was for a cancer Hospice center. I am not here trying to hawk my stuff or to advertise and sell stuff. I know you are not implying that at all but I wanted to make it clear to everybody that Im not here to sell stuff. Once a price and a deadline are applied to what it is that I make, I lose interest quickly because then it is just a job or another form of work and the joy is gone from the project.

If I had a knapped stone point primitive arrow on hand, I would gladly send it to you for nothing but I have not made one in a while. I make things as the mood hits me and as time allows. Right now, I am busy working on holiday gifts, another firearms restoration and a few knives that I promised to a couple sporting orgs after the new year. Thanks for thinking enough of the arrows to consider parting with hard earned money. Booner, your a class act as well for your offer to purchase the arrow for her. That is a very nice gesture.

I normally get PM's from people asking how much I charge for (insert item here) and I end up thanking them for their kind words and letting them know my stuff is not for sale. When people learn I give stuff away, I get even more messages requesting things. It's flattering in a way (sometimes it goes overboard) I just enjoy making things and showing or explaining how to do it so others might give it a try after seeing how easy it can be to do.

Thank you for the step by step Archer. I respect that you do this, because you enjoy it, and refuse to sell items. You have intrigued me to give this a try. Is there any other way to tie the heads on?

Beautiful work, Archer. I had an uncle that could knap and arrowhead from the bottom of a Coors bottle. They were cool to look at, and although I never tried one, they looked functional.

Archer that is some awesome work there. I have a desktop plaque that has an aluminum shaft with feather fletchings, Zwickey broadhead made into it that can be removed. A buddy had this made for me down in Texas, and I just love it but its screaming for a more traditional arrow shaft and napped broadhead.
