Stos 130 gr on Douglas fir shaft (620 gr all up). 57# Browning Explorer recurve.

Are you sure that's a STOS 125 grain broadhead? Unless it's been sharpened many times and lost some grain weight because of that, STOS only come in 130, 145 and 160 grain weights.

D'oh! 130 gr Stos. Sorry - old habits.

For years prior I used either a 125 gr Rib-Tek or Magnus II.

Yes I did.

30-1/2" BoP Surewood (Douglas fir) shafts of 11/32 tapered the last 12" down to 5/16" with three 5" parabolic feathers. Alcohol based leather stains (yellow crown & Southern Pecan forward), Sharpie permanent marker crest with Pilot metallic ink pen pinstriping and Minwax satin polyurethane coat. And those 130 gr Stos broadheads. Makes up a 620 gr +/- arrow and the bow is around 57# at my hair under 30" draw.





Bowhinting is a lifestyle. Fletching & cresting is a hobby. ;-)

Nice looking arrows. Those STOS 130s look real nice on the end of the arrows too.
