Default New Zwickey

Has anyone seen anything of the new barbed Zwickey offering beyond the ad on p. 57 in the Dec/Jan Traditional Bowhunting magazine?

I see Lamont G. quoted as saying "This is what a real hunting arrow should look like". I agree! Too bad NY doesn't agree (barbed heads verboten).

Actually if you had been at the ABCC annual meeting you would have received one from Jack Zwickey. He also signed them for anyone who wished theirs to be signed.

In case you haven't heard Lamont passed away but we did get to see him also at the meeting.

Had not heard about Lamont. That's sad news.

Someday I may make a meeting/get together. I'm at a relatively new job and THE ADMIRAL may not see eye-to-eye with me on where I spend the one week off out of two available that isn't used for hunting.

I like the shape of the broadhead, but as of right now, the barbed version doesn't appeal to me.

I am relatively new to the traditional game. I have only killed squirrels, rabbits and grasshoppers with my Robertson Mystical. But I am looking into some broadheads for tipping up my arrows for next season, possibly even a turkey in March or April. This broadhead is really a good looking broadhead, but I think I want my first kill to be with one of my dad's old Zwickey Black Diamond broadheads. Especially one he killed an animal with. Kind of fitting I suppose.
