Talking

Snuffers, Ace, and Ribteks have some good followings as well. Though I dont think they would match Zwickys or Bears in Sales.

Though if we really want to get into a historic area. I think stone would surpass any and every head by a huge margin

I will be using the Zwickey 2 blade double bevel Eskimo this year, as I got a bunch of them, so why change.

MT bowhunter, that is the broadhead I used to shoot my first two boars in Quebec. They are indeed an excellent broadhead, easy to sharpen and fly straight

Default popular with me

bear razorhead the different colors were to denote the grain weight and shaft dia.
pearson deadhead or the bisquit cutter spinoff was a three blade version of the dead head.

bear still makes the razor head but only as a screw in for alum shaft in 11/32 dia

Littlewolf,
Pictures please of the different color Bear Razorheads and the corresponding weights.
""pearson deadhead or the bisquit cutter spinoff was a three blade version of the dead head"" .......eh?
Bear no longer makes the Razorhead, Trophy Ridge/Coyote has a head called the Razorhead but has no resemblance to it's predecessor's except that it is a four blade.

as far as the colors of the glue on razor heads that was how it was explained to me i have only the greens. i may have a blue or two which the ferrul don't fit on an 11/32 alum adapter but a green does the blue is too small

the bisquit cutter was a small time wildcat i read about i think in traditional bowhunter and i'd have to reread several years worth to find it.

the screw in razorheads i just bought some within the last few years but then again i haven't seen any in stores since then so maybe they don't make them any more.

as far as pics i'd have to wait a few more posts before i'm authorized to post pics

Below are the Bear Razorheads from 1956 to 1964. These are glue-on 21/64"

Below: on left is 1978 21/64" glue-on presharpened, with factory chisel tip. The next two have solid aluminum screw-in ferrules.

Next two are the ones that Satellite was making.

This is the Coyote, similar to the one made with the Bear name. This on is 100gr. The Bear is 125 and 145 made in 2008. I think the Bear had a different color ferrule. I do not have the Bear version in my collection.

Littlewolf;
Which one is the blue one you mention that doesn't fit on an 11/32' adapter?
Which green one do you have?

The biscuit cutter is made from the Pearson Deadhead blades and ferrules. This then evolved into the Snuffer.

Post this question on the collectors forum. Keep checking ebay- the same blades were used on both 2 and 3 blade Thunderheads. Switch to Steel Force, Muzzy Phantoms, Outback, Silverflame, Hunor, or one of many others
