As far as I know this is the first documented turkey kill with the Steelforce Feather Dusters SOB. I set up my Primo’s decoys about 15 yards in front of my blind. It wasn’t long after I set up along a travel route that I heard a few gobbles and some other turkey chatter. I wasn’t calling a whole lot because the birds have been pretty quite around here. The chatter was getting closer and closer so I gave a few purrs, I heard some putts real close. I looked out the blind and had two toms in my decoy spread. They were pretty nervous and looked like they were going to take off, so I drew my Athens accomplice back settled the pin and let the SOB fly. I saw my firenock heading towards the tom. I saw it enter the bird and the shot was perfect right up from the legs and right about even with the beard. Both birds ran towards a little drainage ditch that runs through the property, and only one bird came out. So I knew my trophy was down for the count. I then looked at the camcorder and realized I didn’t hit record which was a huge disappointment. But I wanted to get good pictures because I didn’t get any video. So I exited by blind and I walked up to the area where the tom was standing and found a couple of wing feathers that the broadhead sliced off. I walked to where I saw him last and there he was laying in the bottom off the ditch with the arrow still sticking in him. I grabbed my bird and started my short walk back to the blind. I was amazed with the amount of blood on the ground where he ran through. I am very impressed with this head. It preformed perfectly, it limited penetration, and caused some serious damage. I can’t wait to get my hands on the other Sob and put it through the paces on some big old KS whitetails. I got home and took the trophy pictures then started to clean the bird. I took a couple pictures of the entrance & exit wounds. I also took some pictures of the breast which it sliced threw like butter but they didn’t turn out to well. The head has no damage to it what so ever it was washed off and put right back in my quiver. Here are a few photos for you enjoyment.

Congrats on that fine bird. Nice shot, and awsome damage that head did.
