Default Which Mechanical for turkey/Whitetail ?

Sorry if this has been asked,,i have a question.I will be trying to fill my first spring turkey tag in April and I'm not sure which blade to go with? I will be using a Athens Accomplice set at 58#'s and i have a 29" draw..I have shot muzzy's most of my 29 years of bow hunting but i really want to try mechanicals this year for both turkey and deer..Give me your thoughts on this please. Thanks,,,Steve S.

Hey Steve, nice name by the way.

Here's a few of the previous threads about turkey heads. You can always do a search, it will come up with many threads which will help you. But, it never hurts to get new opinions, that's why we're all here, to learn and to help.

Where do you shoot them and with what head?

If you want one head for both jobs, the Grim Reaper RazorCut 1 3/8 has been proven to put the smack down on both!!

I hope to get my first bird this spring. I have a few heads to choose from, the Reaper is leading the pack, but I may try somehting else

Another vote for Grim Reapers here, but I prefer the 1 3/4" cutting Extra Cut version just because I have momentum & KE to spare

Best of luck shooter, be sure to give us the details of your kills, along with plenty of picks.

Grim Reapers all the way...I shoot the 1 3/8" cut Razortips but I use the expander cups on them to make them 1 1/2" cut..Great heads, tough, sharp and deadly.
