hi,i'm shooting a hoyt alphamax32 set at 60# 30'' with victory vforce hv 350 spitt fire pro 100 but looking to try something new as far as broadheads this year any ideas fixed or mech.

I am a former Spitfire shooter myself. They were a good head for me, and my buddy still shoots them. I decided to change this year, with an open mind.

For a mech, there are a bunch of options. I can't really recommend one single head, just because I haven't tried them all. I have shot the Grim Reapers and they are VERY nice. But, there are several great mechanical heads available this year, so don't be afraid to try several and let us know what works good for you. Check out all the great threads on here and go for it.

Welcome to the best hunting site on the web. Like BFL, I am a former Spitfire user and have switched to fixed blades because I had marginal results with the Spitfires. I'm currently using Magnus Buzzcuts and love them.
