Hey Ya'll,
Wanted to say hello. Been bow hunting for eight years now but got a very late start on it (will be 50 in a few weeks). Live up in north western NJ and just love bow hunting and archery. I think this is a fantastic web site. Here is my set up: Hoyt Maxxis 31, 60lbs, 27.5" draw length HHA single pin fixed site QAD Pro rest Mathews Arrow Web quiver (Hoyt version) Simms X coil stab Easton Axis FMJ 400 cut to 27 1.4" Currently shooting Magnus Stinger 4 blade but have shot Atom's and Rage 2 blade, would like to try GR Razortips this year. This is an entirely new set up for me this year. Call it a mid life crisis but I went all out and upgrade from my eight year old Parker Hunter Mag. I hunt exclusively with a bow for Whitetail's unless a yote is stupid enough to walk by. I also hunt from a tree stand although I may try a ground blind this year as my girls want to come with me. Anyway great site and good shooting to all. Brian |

Thanks for the warm welcome Folks.
Yoda, I hunt on public land. Wawayaynda, Hamburg WMA and small plots of scattered state land. Can't complain. I live in the middle of it all, never lost a stand etc. Have had many guys walk through the bedding area I was hunting next to but otherwise no complaints. Honestly I have had as many yotes ruin my hiunts as people. If I choose to I can walk out my door and hunt without ever having to get in my truck. |

On more than one occasion I have had packs of yotes howling just out of sight until 10:00 in the morning. I would guess they were on a fresh kill or something. Nothing is moving in the woods when that is going on.
Last year I was just stepping into my climber in the dark when one let out a howl not 10 yards behind me. I think I set a tree speed climbing record. We have a ton of yotes up here but then again we have a ton of bears too. |

Welcome ! yotes not wolfs i would rather see in the feild.Last year out in the Colarado back 40 of a friends, we had a pack of them howling away.Kind of cool but also kind of creepy when there are a bunch of them sliping around in the dark.
