Welcome Bill, thanks for joining us. As chuck said, give us the skinny on your flavor for heads and such. We like this kind of thing, we're weird like that.

Thanks guys.
I shoot a Hoyt Vtec with H&M strings, 29 1/4" 67# but might drop down to 60# this coming year, ripcord rest, homemade string stop. Settled on Goldtip 7595 XT hunters, was using max hunters vanes and 4 fletch razor feathers but will be testing others this year. After playing with releases I think I settled on Scott little goose but probably not .Broadheads spitfires, steelheads, slicktrick mag, have used muzzies, thunderheads, shockwaves, libertyheads, rocky mountains and few others but will more then likely have the SOB in my quiver this season. Been looking for a coc head that is strong for a bone hit and has a big cut but if failed would still do damage. I live in Black Hawk county sw corner of Ne Ia but ya it is awesome country up there. Trout fishing is pretty cool up there, hunting not to bad either. Awesome hearing 30 turkeys go off and the sound echoing up the valley, don't have any deer lol. Getting harder and harder to find land to hunt now though. Been doing this going on 14 or 15 yrs now. Last edited by Strider; 03-16-2010 at 09:50 PM. |
